Sales & Lease Back
A sale & lease back contract is a method used to release capital employed in unencumbered assets. It allows businesses to sell their assets to finance companies and rent them back over an agreed term, which means they have cash to re-invest in the growth of their company.
Operating leases are generally used where assets have a residual value, normally this applies to heavy plant, vehicles and machinery. However, we do have a select panel of partners that will provide operating leases for technology into the right type of credit.
At the end of the Operating lease, the asset will be returned to the finance company. In order to recover the residual value, the finance company will either re-hire or sell it on.
Refinancing of capital equipment can be a viable alternative to traditional forms of funding and you can benefit from an initial cash injection but still use the equipment. The finance company buys the equipment from you and leases it back over a pre-determined period.
